Dear friends…

I will once again be on the air today (3/27) from 12-2pm asking for your financial pledges of support for The Roots Music Project, 89.1 WEMU and National Public Radio in general. Thanks to everybody who gave last week! I appreciate it!

We will be wrapping up the whole Fundraiser tomorrow at 2pm so it is imperative that The Roots Music Project make a good showing to meet all of our overall goals and to keep Roots & Americana music on the FM airwaves.

Do you love Bluegrass, Folk, Country, Blues and Rockabilly on the radio? Please be generous and help keep the music flowing.

I will have some special guests helping me out in the studio tomorrow and I will also play plenty of music in between asking for your money!

It is that time of year again…The WEMU Spring Fundraiser. I will be on the air tomorrow (3/20) from 12-2pm asking for your financial pledges of support for The Roots Music Project, 89.1 WEMU and National Public Radio in general.

If you have listened to and enjoyed the program over the last 6 months I am asking you to please pledge in absolutely any amount to help us meet our lofty financial goals.

If you like hearing Bill Monroe, Bob Dylan, Delbert McClinton, Muddy Waters and/or Doc Watson on Saturday afternoons on your radio, please be generous and keep the music and the love going…
